Berry Street

2017 is Berry Street‘s 140th birthday. From a small group of women determined to make a difference in the lives of Melbourne’s youngest inhabitants in 1877, to Victoria’s largest child and family services organisation today, Berry Street has grown and changed through every one of its 140 years. This year I worked on a book and an exhibition to celebrate and commemorate their history. I worked with their fantastic, dedicated teams who were ready to dream up a travelling exhibition, create a beautiful design for the book, and share with me their archives. So many people saw Berry Street as home, whether babies, children, mothers and families or nurses, board members and staff. You can read the whole book here, and see the travelling exhibition at a range of places, usually updated here

Here I am speaking at Collins Place as we launched the exhibition.
