Travellers Aid Australia

I worked with the team at Way Back When a lot during 2016. Here are three projects:

  • a permanent exhibition installation at The King David School in Armadale (see a video of the students’ first day in their new building here)
  • a centenary history of Travellers Aid Australia (a book here and exhibition) October 2017 update – this project was commended in the Victorian Community History Awards!

  • a book for the North Balwyn RSL that profiles almost 200 former members (to be published)

All three projects have been special for different reasons, but as always it has been wonderful to be immersed in these life stories. I’ve been amazed at the generosity of people as they built a school, served the travellers of Victoria and built a community. I love my job!Country to City
